Do you find you need to read the same document again and again before you can absorb the information?
Text-to-speech makes it easier to absorb information when you are reading.
You can see a quick example of text-to-speech here. You can use text to speech on your laptop, smartphone, or tablet. You can use text-to-speech to read out loud any kind of document: Powerpoint slides, PDFs, websites, Word documents, even books or handouts.

Use Grammarly to Proofread Your Essays and Assignments

You can use Grammarly to check the spelling and grammar of your essays and assignments. It will also give you feedback on the type of mistakes you make and help you understand how to avoid those mistakes in future.

Getting Started

You can get started with Grammarly by clicking on this link.

You will then be sent a verification Email. After you open the email you will be redirected to a page asking you for an Access Code.

The Access Code is:	Access Code

Copy and paste the access code to activate Grammarly.

Using Grammarly

You can use Grammarly online, or you can use it with Microsoft Word by downloading the Grammarly Microsoft Word Add-in.

How to Collect the Livescribe Pen

Please complete the Livescribe Deposit Form in advance of collecting the equipment.
In addition, please ensure that you have topped up your UCard account by €30 in advance of collecting the equipment.

How Audio Note Taker Works

Audio Note Taker visualizes the lecture recording as bars that you can highlight and edit. You can use Audio Note Taker to audio-record lectures while at the same time typing short notes. It allows you to quickly revisit parts of the lecture that you might want to listen to again.

Using Voice Recognition to Dictate

Voice recognition is an easy way to get your ideas down into a document, so it's a good way to get started on an essay. It's also much quicker than typing.

A lot of people find it more natural to express themselves by speaking rather than by typing. If this is you, voice recognition is well worth trying!
